       Offshore Oil Engineering (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. recently signed a contract for the construction of MWP1 process modules with Yamgaz SNC, the general contractor of the Yamal LNG project in Russia. The contract value is approximately US$1.643 billion, equivalent to RMB 10.109 billion.
       The Yamal LNG project is located in the Yamal Peninsula in northern Russia. The overall project development will mainly build an LNG factory and affiliated port camps and other facilities. The operator of the project is Russia's Novatek, which owns 60% of the shares. In addition, TOTAL and China National Petroleum Corporation each own 20% of the shares. The MWP1 contract undertaken by CNOOC Engineering is the core process module part of the LNG plant, including the construction of 36 process modules.
